Chassagne-Montrachet Premier Cru Les Vergers 2024

We have a date at Les Vergers... white fruits appear as brightly as in 2023: Passe-Crassane pears and Granny Smith apples. The palate is in harmony with the nose. The pleasure is already there, even if its inner power suggests that it will age gracefully.

Grape variety: Chardonnay

Planting date: 1967-1987

Surface area: 0.46 hectare

Geology/Exposure: On the Chassagne-Montrachet hillside, below the Chassagne marble quarry, very chalky soil, poor loam.

Method of vinification and ageing: Matured in barrels, 20% of which are new, for 14 to 16 months.
