The challenge for the 2024 vintage lies in the Pinot Noir. This one “makes the cut”! The aromas of blackcurrant are smoked by a touch of fine French oak. Its fleshy texture releases a less firm substance than expected. You can open it now or leave it to age for two years.
Santenay
Santenay Premier Cru la Comme
With its classic Pinot colour, it has a generous aroma of ripe black fruit without being jammy. Its flavour is savoury and at the same time surprisingly fresh. A premier cru that stands out from the crowd in this vintage.
Santenay Premier Cru le Passe-Temps
The colour is a deep crimson. Its aroma is still dominated by the fresh wood from its ageing. On the palate, the tannins are as straightforward as they are fresh. It is clear that further ageing will do it good. Allow another three years.
santenay vieilles vignes
The carmine colour of its juice is so vivid that it looks like it came straight out of a tube of gouache. Its aroma imposes notes of mauve lilac, enhanced by a lingering flavour of purple damson plum. Perfect for winter.
santenay les charmes
A cardinal red colour conceals a fragrance enveloped by woody notes. Its texture is full-bodied. The palate rests on a well-rounded tannic base. One more winter and it will be at its peak.
Pommard
Pommard les Noizons
Its violet hue hints at a battle between walnut leaf sap and plum stone on the nose. Its silky tannins offer a tactile thickness that lingers on the tongue like a bridal veil. An imposing village.
