A cardinal red colour conceals a fragrance enveloped by woody notes. Its texture is full-bodied. The palate rests on a well-rounded tannic base. One more winter and it will be at its peak.

Geology / Exposure: At the foot of the Santenay hillsides, deep clay-limestone soil.

Method of vinification and ageing: 100% de-stemming, pre-fermentation cold maceration (10°C) for one week, followed by a 13-day fermentation. Aged 18 months, 100% in barrels, 20% of which are new.
