The LEQUIN family have been winegrowers in Santenay since at least 1679. Steeped in Burgundian culture, each generation has lived for wine and the vine.

Some years ago, René LEQUIN married Josette Colin, herself the daughter of an old wine-growing family from Chassagne-Montrachet. In 1976, they made their first harvest. Domaine LEQUIN-COLIN was born.

In 1996, their son François joined them. He now presides over the destiny of the estate.

Obsessed by authenticity and quality, we combine empiricism and modernity. We benefit from and help ourselves to progress, both in terms of agronomic and oenological knowledge and in terms of winemaking and vine-growing equipment, but we also believe that observing and respecting tradition remain paramount.
