Santenay Vieilles Vignes 2024
The carmine colour of its juice is so vivid that it looks like it came straight out of a tube of gouache. Its aroma imposes notes of mauve lilac, enhanced by a lingering flavour of purple damson plum. Perfect for winter.

Planting dates: 1963, 1970, 1976, 1978, 1979
Surface area: 1.69 hectares
Geology/Exposure: A blend of 5 plots on 3 hillside terroirs, predominantly clay-limestone.
Method of vinification and ageing: 100% de-stemming, one-week cold prefermentary maceration (10°C) followed by a 14-day fermentation. Aged 18 months, 100% in barrels, 20% of which are new.
