Chassagne-Montrachet Clos Devant

With this bottle you are in Chassagne and nowhere else. A long yellow colour that runs down the length of the glass. This is followed by a complex fragrance combining stone and yellow fruit, like a peach sunbathing... The texture is ribbed yet full-bodied. This bottle is a dish and a dessert in itself.

Geology/exposure: At the foot of the Chassagne-Montrachet slopes, deep clay-limestone soil.

Method of vinification and ageing: Matured in barrels, 20% of which are new, for 14 to 16 months.
