This is largely a red wine made from Pinot Noir grapes. Its mauve-purple, black cherry color , generally deep, shines brightly. Its bouquet is reminiscent of rose petals, peony, violets, fruit and a hint of black cherry. red with a hint of licorice. On the palate, the attack is intense and deep.

Firm, discreet tannins make up a supple, well-structured body with a very fine texture. Lovely return of aromas (often blueberry) on a persistent finish. Bright, mineral and floral, the white Chardonnay offers freshness and vigor. Its bouquet expresses notes of fern and hazelnut.

From the water nymph to the god of wine, Santenay enjoys a twofold reputation vocation, spa and winegrowing. In the very south of the Côte de Beaune, on this commune and in Remigny in the continuity of the terroir, this wine presents noticeable nuances depending on the hillside. Santenay has several towns and hamlets. From the top of Mont de Sène, Montagne des Trois Croix, the view extends back a long way, with human occupation dating back to prehistoric times. Terroirs
Greyish limestone covers the upper slopes, up to 500 metres above sea level. altitude. Downhill: oolitic limestone, white oolite, marl and limestone clippings, the lower oolite on a level marl up to 300 metres altitude. A perfectly exposed vineyard (from sunrise to noon).

Supple and intense on the attack, its aromatic range is distinguished on the finish. That’s why it’s a perfect match for stewed dishes such as veal and braised beef, where its tannins structure the palate without aggression. Asian-style glazed and caramelized poultry, as well as homemade hamburgers, will be delighted to welcome it to the table for its meaty texture. On the cheese platter, choose Brie de Meaux, Pont-l’évêque, Cîteaux, Reblochon or Bleu de Bresse.
